Please find attached, for your information, the full report pertaining to the recent review of the Food Safety Recognition Program (FSRP), which was conducted by a consultant on behalf of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. The review was done to:
- Analyze the current relevance of the FSRP to Canadian industry organizations
- Look for efficiencies in how the FSRP could be administered; and
- explore concrete ways to enhance the uptake of FSRP by national industry organizations (NIOs).
Due to resource and time constraints, we were unable to interview all of you during that exercise; therefore, we wanted to give everyone an opportunity to share with us any comments, concerns, or perspectives on the attached report. In the near future, you will receive a meeting invite to join us virtually to share your reactions to the report. Vous trouverez ci-joint, à titre d’information, le rapport complet relatif au récent examen du Programme de reconnaissance de la salubrité des aliments (PRSA), qui a été réalisé par un consultant au nom de l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments. L’examen a été fait pour :
- Analyser la pertinence actuelle du PRSA pour les organisations de l’industrie canadienne.
- Rechercher des efficacités dans la façon dont le PRSA pourrait être administré; et
- Explorer des moyens concrets d’améliorer l’adoption du PRSA par les organisations nationales de l’industrie (ONI).
En raison de contraintes de ressources et de temps, nous n’avons pas été en mesure de faire un entretien avec vous tous au cours de cet exercice; par conséquent, nous voulions donner à chacun l’occasion de nous faire part de ses commentaires, de ses préoccupations ou de ses perspectives sur le rapport ci-joint. Dans un avenir proche, vous recevrez une invitation à nous rejoindre virtuellement pour partager vos réactions au rapport.
