The purpose of this email is to inform you of an avenue for employers to contact Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) with inquiries related to economic immigration programs and services.

There are IRCC Outreach officers throughout Canada that provide employers and stakeholders with information sessions to help them understand which economic immigration options can be used to meet hiring needs. Outreach Officers also provide information about where to look for global talent with the skills and experience needed and how to hire global talent using temporary work permit and permanent residence programs. More information about these services and how to contact an IRCC Outreach Officer can be found here: Services for employers to help attract global talent – Canada.ca.

You can email an outreach officer at : IRCC.promotion-promotion.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

Note that IRCC Outreach Officers should not be considered as an employer contact centre for case specific inquiries Outreach officers are unable answer questions about any applications in process. If you have questions about an application in process, contact the Client Support Centre using our web form. You’ll need to get written authorization from the applicant to make an enquiry.

If there are exceptional circumstances where IRCC processing delays may be impacting your ability to operate your business, you may be able to contact an Outreach Officer for assistance. In these circumstances, please outline in detail the impact a processing delay is having on your operations. An Outreach Officer may then review and determine if it is appropriate for them to provide a response or direct you to submit a web form.
